Yellow mealworm beetle (Tenebrio molitor) – 500 fresh adult beetles for breeding mealworms. Can also be used as feed for your pets.
Usage: After delivery, pour the contents into the parental system. Beetles can be fed the same substrate as their larvae. Unlike them, however, they cannot take in atmospheric humidity, so we hydrate twice a week – with carrots, apples, potatoes, etc. We harvest the substrate with eggs as needed, 1-2 times a week. Adult beetles are capable of reproduction roughly in their 2-9 weeks of life; during the reproductive period, females lay 160-320 eggs.
